Summary: What a romantic story!
Comment: What a read! Strong characters, very funny, good plot & I loved the way they talked!
Harriet -the hereon- is what you want a woman to be; she is intelligent, sure of herself & of what she wants in this world. She is honest about her feelings, which is refreshing. She doesn't listen to cruel gossip or what people around her think.
The hero is a man that you'll fall in love with instantly, strong, loving but... of-course.. tortured!
The story is enjoyable & the rest of the characters are interesting. I wouldn't put it past me if Amanda Quick wrote a book about Harriet's sister Felicity.
If you want an enjoyable evening reading something to fuel your imagination then this book is for you.

Summary: The best Quick
Comment: "Ravished" is my favorite of Amanda Quick's books. Gideon is a brooding hero, but for once the reader can understand his pain because of his past. He's not forbidding for no reason, which is often the case with reluctant heroes. Harriet is just a delight, with her love for fossils and common-sense approach to life. The passion that ignites between them seems very urgent and very real. While this is basically a "redemption" novel, there is enough charm and humor throughout to keep it from becoming cloyingly sweet. The unexpected twists and turns in the plot serve up some danger and suspense, but the true joy in this book is the friendship and love that develops between the couple. I loved the depth of Gideon's sensitivity and perception beneath his fierce exterior. This is truly a "must-read" for regency fans.

Summary: OK
Comment: This is a cute regency novel.
My first time reading this author.
I give it four stars because this book strays
from the typical regency and is exciting -
better than the the norm, for this era.
While I'm not 'looking' for more of her books,
I would definately grab one if I saw it at a
used book store or thrift shop.
