Summary: An introduction only!
Comment: I'm a graduating senior for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. We used this text for our airline management course. The content could have a lot more in depth. I'm left feeling like there is something else this text should be telling me. I read all 16 chapters and did selected questions, as required by the instructor. The questions are pointless. A typical question has several sub questions within it. This text was definintely intended for the undergraduate level.

Summary: General but good for students
Comment: The contents of this book is concise and clear, but rather general. Too much concentration on USA situation. However, it outlines nearly all aspects of airline management essentials which enable students (mostly undergraduates) and junior airline executives to earn concept and application regarding airline industry and the management methods that associate with.

Summary: OK as an introduction, but not very in-depth
Comment: I purchased this book as a soon-to-be MBA graduate going to work for one of the leading airlines. I must say that it did not fulfill my expectations. It IS a very good brief overview of the major issues and concerns that air carriers face. As such it may be very useful to those unfamiliar with the industry at all and those with only a limited business background. For students at a graduate level, I cannot recommend this book.
