Summary: Start to Finish!
Comment: This book is for the programmer/Computer Science Major that wants to use C++ to develop abstract data types (ADT's). Tables, linked list, stacks, queues, trees with in depth implementation!
Having been a C/C++/VB programmer for the last 15 years I find this text excellent for use as a tutorial for my serious programming students.
This is an excellent book!
Rating: 3
Summary: This book is good for what it is intended for.
Comment: The book covers programming in C++, but it should not be used as a book for newcomers to programming. They should read C++ for dummies! This is basically a college text-book and needs to be used with professional instruction.
Rating: 1
Summary: The book isn't good for learning c++
Comment: Firstly, a lot of the syntaxes and programmes do not work.
- The book does not offer any significantly good explanation.
- I would prevent any novice from reading the book because it it nothing but junk. It is the junkies book I have ever read. What the book is good for is just to wipe my shoes on the door step
