Comment: This book was well written. It is one of the best books that I have ever read. I have read many time travel romances....but this one takes the cake!! (in a manner of speaking). Shaelyn was a marvelous and vivacious character. Alec is probably the man that I am destined to marry. That is if I can take him away from Shae. If you enjoy this book, check out the sequel "River of Dreams". If this book wasn't rated on a 1 to 5 scale, I would have given it a 10+!!

Summary: I could not put this one down!
Comment: After slipping an antique ring on her finger, Shaelyn Sumner is transported back in time just in time to marry poor Alec. Shaelyn & Alec find themselves married, quite by accident. She thought she was participating in a "living history" re-enactment & he thought he was saving his brother from a loveless arranged marriage. Alec thinks Shaelyn is crazy even if she is very desirable and truly doesn't know what to make of her. Shaelyn is a wonderful female character, she's smart, sassy & she's got brass. I really enjoyed the way she & Alec played off of each other. I also enjoyed the "Puffin" conversations between Alec & his friend Griffin. I laughed out loud at the "Pugilistic Puffin" (you'll have to read the book to understand!). I love humor in romance novels and this one doesn't disappoint. Jenny Lykins is one terrific author and this book is well worth your time.

Summary: Great!!!!
Comment: This book was VERY interesting. I was intrigued throughout the whole story. I loved the way Lykins kept me on my toes with action, all the while not boring me to death with too many descriptions of facial emotions like some writers do. I especially liked how she revealed little facts throughout the whole story and not all at the same time, tying it up in the end very smoothly. I don't know how many times I've read this book. It's great!!!!
