Comment: This was a truly faboo read!

Anna Jennet weaves a story that is ironic, funny and sweet without ever becoming sappy. She populates the tale with wonderful supporting characters and a touch of the supernatural. All of the ladies of the clan are portrayed with varying amounts of spunk and humor.

And the heroine knows *exactly* what she is doing. No Scottish lassie would actually *want* to be captured, would she? Fantastic read. Even better the second or third time through.

Comment: I enjoyed My Lady Captor. It's more entertaining than the official reviews seem to have it. The path of true love never runs smoothly - and this prooves it. It's mighty tough on a big strong man to find himself captured by a slip of a woman and her nutty family - all of them women - and held for ransom so they can use the ransom they get for him to get their lord (the only male in the family) back from the British. Several surprising characters are thrown in just to make things a little more interesting. If you can find it, it's worth the read. Have fun.
