Comment: As a long-time reader of Ms. Roberts, I can assure others that each title is a gift, and "BORN IN ICE" is made to order. This beautiful and touching love story is surrounded by the breathtaking beauty and magic of Ireland. We find Brianna Concannon , a quiet woman whose only desire for success is in striving to make a temporary home for the guests of her bed and breakfast inn, and trying to keep the peace in a family torm apart by mistakes of the past . Enter Grayson Thane, an internationally famous author trying to forget his own troubled past and maintain the life he has painstakinglg created for himself. Not at all interested in putting down roots, he can't fight the pull he feels to this delicate woman who longs for a peaceful, quiet existence and a man to give her heart to . Add in the fire of Maggie Concannon and power of Rogan Sweeney (returning from "Born In Fire")and you have a passionate romance that with pull at your heart, and stay with you long after the last page has been savoured. Thanks again Nora, for yet another glorious love story !

Summary: A beautiful story
Comment: I have read the whole "born in" trilogy and this was my favorite one. The serenity and coolness of Brianna matched with the anxiousness and humor of Grayson was irresistable. Nora Roberts is such a gifted novelist and a book like this gives all us romantics hope. This story has everything, passion, humor, seriousness, and sadness enough to make you cry. The way she had Grayson's catch phrase "Let me tell you a story" throughout the book was brilliant because you never knew what type of story it was, be it happy or sad. It's a novel of great depth and definately does not fall in the "Trashy Romance Novel" catagory that so many people are apt to put these types of books in. If you're a big "Born in Fire" fan also, never fear. Maggie and Rogan are also woven through this spellbinding tale. I have reread this book many times and never fail to cry at the end.

Summary: More Like 100 out of 5!
Comment: This was my very first book for Nora Roberts, and so far it's the best book EVER. It is THE PERFECT book. Brianna is a wonderful, smart inn keeper with many talents and a rare kind of maturity. I would love to be like her! And Gray is a successful, sweet, caring, witty author that comes to her inn in Ireland to relax and start a new book. This is no ordinary romance. I love that it goes deep, not only into the main characters' personalities, but there is also Brianna's sister and brother-in-law, her mother, her friend, and Gray's agent. Not to mention the wonderful scenary of Ireland described throughout the book. The conlcusion of the book is wonderful and utterly satisfying, leaving you with a happy glow that lasts a long time! Other books by Nora Roberts are good, but this one takes the prize. Of the Born trilogy this one is the best and it should NOT be missed.
