Comment: If you liked 'A Girl's Guide To Vampires' you're going to LOVE 'Sex and The Single Vampire'. For all of you who felt for Christian, worry no more. Allegra is his perfect match. The book is fast-paced, action-packed, sexy and funny. Katie Macalister has truly outdone herself. (And yes I even laughed out loud.) The only bad thing I can say about this book is that it had to end. This one is a keeper, so hurry up and get a copy.

Summary: Sex and the Single Vampire
Comment: If you're in the mood for comedy, love, sex, and a gaggle of interesting, yet often comical ghoulie creatures, I recommend MacAlister's newest novel. A sequel to "A Girls Guide to Vampires," (AGGTV) this novel shows us how Christian--a vampire of whom some of you might be familiar with--meets his mate, Allegra.
The book starts off capitally and manages to keep itself on a higher level of entertainment. Readers that missed AGGTV might be a bit confused at the onset of the book, but in due course all is explained in brief sentences sprinkled here and there throughout most of the first half. The characters are huorously true to their form, and Allegra is a very interesting addition to the group. Her occupation is Summoner, a person that can call forth ghosts lurking about and demons from hell ... though she'd be the first to admit that she isn't very good at it. It is through her voice that this book is told.
I highly recommend this book, and hope that MacAlister, who has openly admitted to her love for the work of Christine Feehan, manages to keep churning out various novels with more variation than the latter.

Summary: vampires fans must have.
Comment: Fans of A Girl's Guide to Vampires will not be disappointed with Sex and Single Vampire. I believe that Sex and Single Vampire was better. It was better written and the heroine Allie, was not as silly as A Girl's Guide to Vampires Heroine, Joy. Though I enjoyed both heroines. This book can stand alone but it's better if you read the other one first. It's help with understanding the "Dark one's rules" and some of the secondary characters. This book is a nice break from the usual dark vampires books.
