Summary: Should be bundled with Visibroker
Comment: Although I'm more interested in Visibroker for C++, I found this book very practical and helpful. The book is more helpful than the official Visibroker documentation and should be bundled with all versions of Visibroker.

CORBA is a standard, but there are features that only Visibroker provides (OSAgent for example). The book clearly described the reasons Visibroker made these enhancements and helped you decide if you want to take advantage of them.

Even though all printed source is in Java (or IDL of course), the main, larger example in the book has equivalent C++ source code on the enclosed CD-ROM.

Summary: This is a great CORBA book!
Comment: This book contains clear discussions and examples and is an excellent resource for anyone wanting to learn CORBA. All the examples are based in Java, but this book would be useful for any type of programmer wanting a more complete understanding of CORBA. This book is a perfect blend of high-level architecture discussion and concrete code examples without superfluous chapters.

Summary: Difficult English
Comment: Well have not read this book from page 1 to the end
yet, but I just do not think it is that good.
The main thing I have against it, is that it
uses to difficult sentences to explain some
simple things. Not that great for someone who's
native language is not english anyway.
I will review this opinion if I read it totally.
