Summary: Shadowrun's alive
Comment: In my opinion, Headhunters is quite a good book since the author manages to make the runners have personal problems and still have them look like professionals. What I didn't like, however, were the conversations between Skater and Archangel - these are not the kind of conversations that any real person would actually deal in. Apart from that, Headhunters is certainly one of the Shadowrun books that creates the most atmosphere.

Comment: This is a great book, first time Shadowrunners should really look into reading it as it provides great Ideals. I love how Mel Odom got the SR jargon down to the last Frag & Slitch.

Summary: Best potential for adaptation to film.
Comment: From the first paragraph, non-stop action in a flurry of heart-stopping images. Other than the first three books in the Shadowrun series this is probably one of the best stories to date. Jack Skater isn't invincible. He's not superman. And this comes across to the reader.
