Summary: Prescott Never Disappoints
Comment: Michael Prescott has done it again -- written a psychological thriller that won't let you stop reading. Catlin, or C.J. as she prefers to be called, is a tough L.A. cop with a past that has been haunting her since she was 10 years old. An intruder, whom she thinks of as the boogeyman, broke into her home and frightened her so badly she has never been able to get the experience out of her mind. Now, he's come back to find her, and this time, he vows not to leave empty handed. A few surprising plot twists heighten the suspense and keep the reader up late at night.
Prescott is not only a superb wordsmith, he writes in the female point of view more realistically than most male writers. "Last Breath" is a must for suspense fans.

Summary: Outrageous Suspense from the beginning to the end!
Comment: This is the BEST book I have read in years, maybe ever! Michael Prescott is a masterful writer. He keeps the reader on the edge of their seats from the beginning until the very end. I was SO caught up in the characters as well as the plot that I think about the book everyday and wish I hadn't read it so quickly so I could still be enjoying it. I truly hope it is made into a movie as I believe it would be a "BLOCKBUSTER"! I have ordered Prescott's other three books, and I have pledged to read them more slowly to capture his vocabulary and style! Can't wait until December for his next book, WIPEOUT.
Rating: 1
Summary: Unbelievable
Comment: I can't believe someone over 17 could be entertained by this. How about some realism for once!
Many things in the book would never happen. Therefore, it totally killed the story midway through the book for me.
It's sad to think people are entertained by such a weak job, almost like the movie Face Off or something. Often I like the Vintage Collection books and they're not as exciting but at least they are realistic.
