Summary: Way To Go Terry McMillan!!
Comment: I recently finished reading A DAY LATE AND A DOLLAR SHORT by Terry McMillan, and I have to say, it was one of the few books I have ever read that I actually hated to see end. The characters in this book are so lovable, understandable, and human - you actually find yourself caring deeply about what happens to all of them. I loved how when reading this book, it was like you were inside each character's mind, hearing their private innermost thoughts expressed the way people really "think" them - so honest, candid, and REAL! This book moved me to laugh out loud, feel happy, feel sad, feel hope, feel a lot of things. It is not just a story of family, but a story of human beings, and how we could all use a little more understanding and empathy from one another. This book is a must-read, one you will enjoy reading and want to pass onto your family and friends. I can only hope that Ms. McMillan comes out with a sequel to this story. I would love to see what the future holds for the characters left in A DAY LATE AND A DOLLAR SHORT. Kudos to the author AND publisher for getting this story out into the world!

Summary: Well worth the wait.
Comment: A Day Late and a Dollar Short is by far the best work by Terry McMillan in my opinion. Terry is like fine wine..she gets better with time.
Truly a master piece of work. Once I started reading (ADLAADS) I couldn't put the book down. The characters were so real. At first I was wondering about all the characters but soon everything came together and I couldn't close the book. The family tree was very helpful. Everyone that read this novel should be able to relate with the day to day drama of the Price family. Have you ever read a book and hated for it to end? That is how I felt when I closed the last page of (ADLAADS). I was like no...I want more. This is one that will have you laughing, crying, shacking your head and thinking about your own family.
Terry, please don't make us wait too long for your next release. God's Blessings.
