Comment: Quite simple, in fact, this review of A.R. St.Johns book. Not a classic, but something you ought to read if you are very interested in Hollywood and its population of stars... Rogers knew them all and she has a way to tell you about them, especially as being a friend of Valentino and a protector of Clara Bow. She had a long career with Hearst papers (and a friendship with him and Marion Davies)and was one of the first lady reporter to cover hot actuality as the Lindberg kidnapping trial. She likes details, but not always accuracy (several critics said so.) To know more about her, see her other autobiography, the Honeycomb. Quite a lady...
