Summary: Cherry Adair does it again!
Comment: My first book by Cherry Adair was KISS AND TELL. I really enjoyed the story and have been eagerly awaiting the next book from her, HIDE AND SEEK.
It is about Kyle Wright (the brother of the heroine from K&T) and Delanie Eastman. They were lovers several years ago and had not seen one another since then. They meet up in a secluded fortress owned by a suspected drug lord. Delanie is pretending to be the lover of the drug lord. Kyle doesn't know whether to trust her or not. She doesn't trust him either and so does not tell him the real reason she is there.
Kyle and Delanie strike sexual sparks together immediately in the story and like KISS AND TELL, it has lots of action. There were times I got a little squeamish, but it was not gory. Just a suspenseful story that you don't know where it will go next. The love scenes are plentiful, and hot, especially the one in the bedroom after Delanie drinks spiked wine.
I will admit I preferred KISS AND TELL more, but putting comparisons aside, I admit this is just as good and deserves my 5-star rating. I am looking forward to the next installment about the Wright family. If you are looking for an action packed romance, with hot love scenes, you won't go wrong with this.

Summary: Fast, fun, hot..... not quite believable
Comment: 'Steamy' I think is the best description for this book..... both the jungle AND the sex! lol Cherry Adair certainly knows how to keep the pages hot. 'Action-packed' is another good description. This one, like Kiss and Tell, never stops moving. Unfortunately, 'far fetched' might fit too. Delanie's reason for being in the jungle, how she got there, and the part she was playing didn't sit well with me at all. A kindergarten teacher??? Nah! Supposedly she was only 'playing' a bimbo.... some of her actions convinced me that she really was! I just have a problem with regular everyday women walking into what they know is a life threatening situation & making stupid decisions..... Delanie did this often. I like a little common sense & brain usage in my heroines.
Now Kyle was a great action hero. His reasons for being there & the way he came to be were believable and he played his role quite well. The way CA descibed him was just awesome.... Now I did have a small problem with the fact that he couldn't keep his pants zipped at a couple a really important times... a person would think that a man in his position would have a little more self-control that that.... but oh well, this is fiction read for fun, right?!
All in all though, I enjoyed reading this one. It was an original storyline (for a romance novel anyway), the hero was to die for, and it never let me get bored (which is very important to me). If you liked CA's 'Kiss and Tell', I'd think you'll probably like this one also

Summary: Enjoyed It All BUT The Ending !!
Comment: I make it a point to read anything Ms. Adair writes as a rule and of course this book is no exception. Buy the book and read it. The story is very good. My only problem with it was the ending (sorry !!) I still love this writer and will forever buy anything she writes. I'm a huge fan !!
