Summary: Unique concept, but disappointing nonetheless
Comment: I had high hopes for this book because of it's unique plot. However, as far as the romance part of it, I was really disappointed. In fact, this is probably one of the only romance novels I've ever read where I DIDN'T want the hero and heroine to get together at the end. The hero didn't show the kind of deep love and concern for the heroine that is such a staple in romance novels (something that, in fact, those who read romance novels come to expect). The hero used the heroine to satisfy his own emotional turmoil over another woman. As a woman, that kind of behavior would have been inexcusable no matter what his explanation. Also, I figured out who the killer was early on, although there were a couple of plot twists I didn't expect.
All in all, I wouldn't recommend this novel, even to Sandra Brown fans.

Summary: A very suspenseful book. One of the best Sandra Brown has written
Comment: Charade is not your typical romance novel. It also has some mystry and suspence. It was very hard to put down. I couldn't wait to finish it so I could find out what happens to the characters in the book. I loaned the book to a friend and when she was done with it I read it again.

Summary: BEST BOOK I'VE EVER READ BY SANDRA BROWN
Comment: One of the best books I've ever read. Read the book in three days. Couldn't figure out the "mystery person" till the very end. There were other twists and turns to even thrill the avid reader.
