Summary: Outstanding! Brown outdoes herself!
Comment: This was the 4th of Sandra Brown's books that I have read. I have several more on my shelf that are awaiting attention. This is by far my favorite of her books that I have finished. I love Brown's writing and have been enthralled by each of the stories I have read so far, but I think she has outdone herself with this one.
Breath of Scandal is engaging, suspenseful, emotional, and extremely hard to put down. Ms. Brown is an expert story teller and has filled this story with deep, interesting characters that you can't help but love or in some cases hate. You will be mesmerized by the twists and turns that leave you wanting to know more! There were several nights that this book kept me up far later than I had intended to be up!
This book is an absolute must read for Sandra Brown fans. If you've never read Sandra Brown, this is an excellent book to start with! If you're overwhelmed by book choices, pick this one. You won't regret it. :)

Summary: Can I give it 10 stars?
Comment: This was, without a doubt, the best romance novel I've ever read! I finished this novel in one night. It had so much more depth than the usual romance novel. It didn't condescend to readers by trying to convince us that two people can fall in love within a day (as many in this genre do); you can actually feel the two main characters falling for each other as they break down the barriers of hurt that have been forged by their experiences throughout the years. You'll laugh, cry, fan yourself (when the hero & heroine finally do have sex, it's one of the sexiest, sweetest scenes I've ever read), and root for Jade to exact her revenge on those who brutalized her. I wanted to reread this book as soon as I put it down. Sandra Brown has truly outdone herself with this one.

Summary: Great Read
Comment: After recently reading "Envy" and "Mirror Image", both recommended to me by others and thoroughly enjoying both of those books, I decided I was hooked on reading more Sandra Brown. I picked this book up when my work was having a book fair to raise money. I was not disappointed with this choice! I thought Ms. Brown did an excellent job of developing the plot and the characters along with some good love scenes. I really liked the character of Jade Sperry and admired her. I think Sandra Brown does a great job of intertwining the story itself along with some suspence and sex. To me, this makes the book a little more interesting. If you are like me in that you are still new to reading Sandra Brown, I think this book is a good choice. I still have a ways to go as far as reading more of her other books. I have read a couple of her romance novels she wrote in her earlier days under a different name and while some are ok, some you can leave alone as well. But I do think Sandra Brown is a good author and will look to keep reading her other books along with new books when they come out.
