Comment: A seemingly random accident brings bestselling suspense writer, Taylor O'Toole, to the U.S. government's attention. The man who may have tried to kill her is someone they want to put away very badly, and who is also very dangerous. Therefore, Navy SEAL, Jack Broussard, is sent to keep an eye on her, and to keep her alive, secretly, of course. Therefore, it mystifies Taylor how her new neighbor, Jack, always seems to turn up when there is trouble. However, since he is sexy as all get out and makes a mean lasagne, she can live with it. However, the danger to both Taylor's life and heart increases day by day. As they work to solve the mystery, Jack and Taylor find that the heat between them could burn down the house, and suddenly, dealing with that is just as urgent as national security.
***** Making welcome returns are characters from previous novels in the series. However, new readers will not feel too left out of the loop. There are some plot elements that stretch it's credibility, yet the fun and passion will compensate the reader. As always, the afterword is informative and further promises that the intrepid couple from the current novel will be back for more adventures. *****

Summary: HOT! HOT! HOT!
Comment: I had always looked forward to reading Ms. Skye's Regency books, and the books about strong women with "gifts". Her stories about strong, passionate, tough Navy SEAls are hot. Makes me wish I needed my own US born, All American hero 24/7. Namely a US Navy SEAl. Taylor is terrific. Full of hangups and not afraid to admit them. I loved Uncle Vinnie. Taylor and Jack seemed unafraid to admit the attraction between them, but unwilling to do anything about it. Thankfully, they overcame that major flaw!!! If you haven't read any of her other SEAl stories, find the first one. And by the way, I hope I can say, Look out Izzy, there's bound to be a story coming for you. He needs his own.

Summary: Fun, fast, entertaining.....
Comment: This one will be on my keepers shelf.... it's part of Christina Skye's Navy SEAL series & I think it's been the best one yet. (Although I will have to admit that it's been a while since I've read the other two... 'Going Overbaord' and 'My Spy'). 'Hot Pursuit' kept me entertained with all the things I look for in a action romance - action, adventure, quick wit, sexy-as-all-get-out hero, intelligent heroine (except once in this story), very hot, hot love scenes (enough to make this girl fan herself!). The ending was well-rounded and really surprised me - but I'll have to admit that one of my questions was not answered...but I can't say what it was or it would be a spoiler.
Anyway, if you like fast action romance, do this one!
