Summary: An Exciting Book To Read!
Comment: Marti Lewis can't take the fact that her best friend, Barry Logan, killed himself. Being the next-door-neighbor she is, Marti goes to the police for help. Although everyone else who is grieving along with Marti is saying that Barry was in a string of suicides, Police Officer Karen Prescott has agreed to help her investigate. With such help, Marti has gone in depth and done her best to solve the case of her friend. In this mystery, you will be surprise by the ending, but you will also be frightened when the mystery unfolds itself.
An entrancing book to read! This book has fascinating me, and being a mystery, allowed me to think along with the character. I have read a few other Joan Lowery Nixon's mysteries, and so far, I think that this one is one of her very best. It captivated me into thinking whether Barry did kill himself or not. Not to mention how I was able to capture Marti's feelings, and feel the same way she did about her friend's murder and to solve the mystery that lay underneath it.
There have been a lot of exciting moments throughout this entire book, but for me, the most intense and thrilling one is when the murder arrives at Marti's house towards the end of the book. Marti is terrified, yet she has the power to fight him off, for not only is he planning to kill her, but that he has also killed Barry. During this moment, you can really imagine yourself hearing the shouts of anger coming from Marti. She has come face to face with the murder, and this is the only time she can come forward.

Summary: outstanding,wonderful, book
Comment: this book was outstanding I have never read a book like it. when i started to read it, it was interesting right from the start. it is really neat how a friend would stick up for one who has been accused of suicide. she doesn't believe that a friend who looked forward to life would kill himself. and to tell you the truth i don't think he would have done it either. i think the officer was really putting her heart into what she was trying to do for Marti. its really bad how she was called crazy and everyone didn't believe her and said she was in denial.i think was but she knew the truth. I theink this book was really good about trying to get everyone aware of the the warning signs of suicide. i think Marti is a real hero by finding out who killed her friend and stopping many more deaths from accuring.i would reccomend this book to anyone who likes mysteries even the slighest bit.

Summary: Brandon ...
Comment: What happens when your friend you've known your whole life turns up dead? The police say it was suicide but you know he was murdered. In a small town called Farrington Park, Marti Lewis has that same problem. After one of her best friends is murdered, she must prove to everyone. Everyone says she's wrong and that she's going through the denial phase of death. She goes to the police station and talks to them. Karen Prescott, a police officer, is the only one who will listen to her. Later, Marti soon finds out that instead of just investigating she will be fighting for her life.
