Comment: Sleepy Hollow Elementary is overcrowded so Mr. Morton's third grade class is relegated to a basement classroom that is rumored to be haunted and hasn't been used in about 100 years. Cassidy, Nina and Jeff have to find a way to live with their ghostly student companions, who want them out of their classroom and are constantly getting Cassidy in trouble.
I thought this novel lacked detail. It mentions a terrible occurrence happening in 1870; but doesn't delve into how these children came to be ghosts. This is an important element that should be included in the first book of the series not somewhere down the line. I found it a big let down!
