Summary: A Must Read For Anyone Who's Experienced A Stllbirth!
Comment: My son was stillborn 8 days before his due date. This book was very reassuring and comforting as well as informative. Everyone she interviews in this book has went on to have 1 or more successful pregnancies. I liked the author's writing style(she herself had a stillbirth at term then went on to have two healthy babies). She prepares you for what feelings you may encounter after a pregnancy loss(especially in your next pregnancy) and offers suggestions on coping as well as how to choose a new Dr., etc. She has a chapter devoted to "The Search For Answers" in which she relates several reasons for loss, one of which helped me personally as my health care providers had no answers for me. I found it to be most helpful as well as encouraging.

Summary: Very helpful and encouraging at a time when i need help !
Comment: I feel the author of this book not only showed us that a miscarriage is still a real loss whether people think it was just a fetus or embryo, the pregnancy to us is a BABY! She gives us hope that there is still a chance for a normal pregnancy after a loss, although she doesnt say that every woman will conceive again. I feel she showed real compassion and i admire her for having the courage to tell her painful story, in order to help others who are going through the same thing... my hat off to her and i will recommend her book highly to anyone who will ever have to go through a miscarriage, stillborn or loss of a baby! way to go Carol! thanks for helping me at a time when i needed it most!

Summary: a lifesaver!
Comment: After delivering stillborn twin boys at 21 weeks, I needed a guide to bring me through my next pregnancy. This book was a lifesaver. The author has suffered a fullterm stillbirth, so she truly relates the feelings that we go through during our subsequent pregnancies. There is detailed info on when to get pregnant again, high risk pregnancies and each trimester. Best of all, everyone interviewed for the book has gone on to deliver a healthy baby after suffering some sort of loss, which brought great hope to me. This is a must read for everyone in my subsequent pregnancy support group!
