Comment: Amazing book! Very interesting and thought provoking.

Summary: Lightweight, but perhaps in earnest
Comment: I can't recommend Spivak's not terribly orignal "deep thoughts", and she is exactly the type of deeply bourgeois conservative "leftwing radical" in the wealthier and higher-salaried academic institutions in the West. I suspect Marx would be amazed to see how silly Spivak makes him sound, but then she's no more a "radical" then her fellow academics.
