Comment: As always, Reyner Banham's a fine read, an architecture critic with a distinct & personal view. Herron's work, however, is the unquestionable star. A founder of the Archigram group in the sixties, Herron's cutting edge, sometimes bizarre drawings were a breath of fresh air injected into the stodgy, Bauhausian rigidity of Modernist design. Walking cities, detatchable units, all in wonderful color & collage illustrations. A real joy!
