Summary: Should be required reading for all entry level ICU staff
Comment: I received this book as part of a purchase of a larger textbook. I've only read parts of the textbook, but have the entire text of the companion book several times. This book provides the most pertinent overview of several disease processes in the intensive care setting. I feel this book did a better job of preparing me for working ICU as an RN than any other text. It also figured heavily in my receiving some ofthe highest scores on the CCRN exam. I've loaned this book to many novice ICU RNs and have received similar reviews.
