Comment: I absolutely loved the poetic language that this book was written in. Its deep descriptions of the scenes kept made me feel I was part of the story. Oliver's shy but willing characteristics, and his veiws of the issues of the world around him is something that we can all identify with. The exciting plot grabbed me from the moment I opened the book to the moment I closed it. My fourth grade teacher once told me that a good book always has lessons in it, and this book has many, many lessons of life that will stay with me. I recommend this book to readers of all ages.
