Summary: Not just for students
Comment: As a student at Roosevelt University, I was required to purchase this book for class. This book is comprised of mostly short stories/essays with some famous (i.e. Maya Angelou & Amy Tan) and not-so-famous authors. It also includes a 'before reading' set of questions, 'active reading' discussions, context comparisons and draft suggestions.
For any of you that enjoy book discussions, this is excellent material. There is a large variety of topics covered, and can appeal to any audience. No need to wait a month to discuss what you think of the reading.
