Summary: A Frigid Survival
Comment: Far North by Will Hobbs is one of the best adventure stories that I have read. It is an exciting story of two kids named Raymond and Gabriel trying to survive in 60 below weather after the buch plane they were on crashes. All that they have to survive is emergency food, an old man named Johnny Raven, and three shots for a rifle Johnny Raven dies. The boys hard earned moose is taken from them by mother nature. The boys then get hurrt. Gabe not as bad as Raymond. Gabe can walk and Raymond can't. Gabe must pull Raymond to the nearest village and Raymonds hometown. Will they survive?

Comment: If you like intriguing books about wilderness and how people survive on their own, then youíll like this book about Gabe and Raymond and how they survive on their wild adventure in the Northern Canadian wilderness. This book is about Gabe and Raymond; two teenage boys fighting to survive in Northern Canada. Their plane goes off a cliff, and the pilot dies. They were starving and hadnít had any food for days. When Raymondís uncle goes out hunting for a moose he has a heart attack and dies as well. I liked this book a lot. It started out slow, but picked up quickly. I liked it because it was a good action adventure, with a lot of twists and turns. I also liked the descriptive writing of the author. My favorite part of the book was when Raymond killed a mountain sheep with an ax. I also like when the winter bear shows up and catches Gabe and Raymond in a tree.

Comment: Far North is a great book. It is full of thrilling action and survival. For anybody looking for a survival book or adventure novel, this is the book you want. It teaches you the quality of friendship and stamina. I would give this book fives stars any day and would recomend it to anyone, any place.
Far North is a about two young men and an older guy who get into a plane crash. They learn how to survive from the older man, named Johnny Raven, who knows how. They have to join toghether and protect eachother in a harsh Canadian winter. This book is absolutely wonderful, and I believe most people who read will think so too.
