Summary: Simply fantastic
Comment: Having been through countless books on gardening (most of them horribly inept) I finally found this one. It's about time someone wrote a thorough and interesting book (even though it's been out for quite a while) about gardening in the South. So many books try to hit all the markets and I suspect many are "padded" with information just so they can reach a wider demographic. But what is so great about this book is the fact that it's geared strictly toward the South and all our "quirks." Most gardeners will tell you that what grows well in South Carolina, won't do in Florida, and what fares well in Mississippi, won't last a year in New Orleans. My suggestion is that you spend the money on this book as it will undoubtedly save you some cash in the long run. Highly recommended.
