Summary: Cheating isn't worth it, Junie B.! Why don't you know???
Comment: My name is Shirley D. I have a little sister named Bailey Jo. I read her the whole Junie B. Jones series. But I was a bit nervous when "Cheater Pants" came out. I hoped it wouldn't set a bad excample to the little 8-year-old. I read it on my own. When I closed the book after finishing it, I thought: "Junie B., I think you should already know--for being a First Grader--that you should NOT cheat!!!" So I skipped reading it to Bailey Jo (and I'm GLAD I didn't!!!!). Kids should have learned to not copy back in Pre-School! Junie B.'s a FIRST GRADER now, and she should know better to not copy homework. I'm glad she learned a lesson, but her teacher just sent a note home to Mom and Dad after copying May's homework. Then her parents didn't do ANYTHING but correct her!!!!! No fair, Junie B.! Then Herbert "Shared" his spelling test with Junie B., and she thought it wasn't cheating, either!!! How silly can she be! Her and Herbert did tell their teacher about the "Sharing" deal, and he failed them on that test. Good for him! They (especially Junie B.!)needed that. And I hope another story of her being the boss, star, and cheater, NEVER EVER evolves in this series again!!!!!!! AND I MEAN IT!!!!!!!

Comment: I found this book to be very funny. I especially liked the part when Junie didn't think that copying May's homework was cheating. I really like all of Barbara Park's books.
