Summary: This is a great book for adventurers.
Comment: The City of Ember is about two teenage kids. They are trying to find a way out of the town they live in because after the town's lights, there is complete darkness. They both have jobs for the town. Doon works in the pipe works where the river runs the generator which creates electric for the town. Lina is a messenger. She takes messages from person to person. They want to find there way out of the town becuase the generator is breaking down and no one wants to be stuck in complete darkness. Join Doon and Lina on this action packed adventure.

I liked this book very much. It was action packed and kept me wanting to read. The middle was the very best part of the book. This was when they were searching for the way out of Ember.

What I didn't like about the book was the ending and also it took awhile for the book to get into the flow of things at the beginnig.

Summary: Awesome and suspenseful!
Comment: In the city of Ember, the sky is dark and lights are everything. Children finish school at the age of twelve and begin their new job (by drawing out of a hat) the next day. This book is based on Lina and Doon, two students. They are put into a giant mystery involving an old note. What will they find?

I highly reccomend this book! It held me on, wanting me to read it all at once. It is so awesome!! READ IT!

Summary: I love this book!
Comment: I read it and I thought it was great! It reminded me a bit of The Giver, Gathering Blue and Messenger by Lois Lowry only ten times better! I loved it. I liked how the plot fit together. How the mayor was greedy, just like Lina's grandfather. How everything was planned out. I really hope that Doon and Lina get married some day, and I'd like a sequal, though I don't think it would be as good as this book is. I'd like to know if Doon and Lina found anyone in their new home. Certainly, if there was a sequal, that would answer alot of questions that I have...Good questions, of course =)
