Summary: Wonderful debut!
Comment: What a wonderful book. Mr. Clark spins a great tale of intrigue, humor and, ultimately, redemption. The characters are well developed and fascinating, the dialogue snappy and true, and the story a winner. This is an exceptional work that will at times make you laugh out loud. It is all the more exemplary considering it is Mr. Clark's literary debut. Don't be put-off by the fact tht the main character and a female lead are, respectively, a judge and lawyer. This is not a Grisham or Turow knock-off; it is more akin to a cross of Kerouac and Richard Russo. Read it!

Summary: Forget The Title
Comment: I live in the part of the world where Judge Clark's book has been wildly successful--as well as a bit contraversial. I simply put off reading it because of the flippant, weird title. I was also a little wary because of all the hype and attention. I've got to say, though, I came away impressed. This is a book that pushes traditional boundaries in a very positive way, and it is a well written, funny book that keeps you interested. The first thirty pages are well done but a little slow, but the story kicks in after that and takes off. This book has gotten a number of good reviews and deservedly so. I'm glad I spent a while "mobile home living." Congratulations to Judge Clark. I'll read the next one sooner.

Summary: Wild and wacky!
Comment: This is a wild and wacky crime novel, that features trailer-park characters who have more humanity than most fictonal characters. The story is strange, and leads the characters halfway across the country, meeting even stranger people, getting involved in strange situations, and the book is at times a laugh riot.
This book would make a great movie, with the right actors. It's paced like a movie, yet has far more profundity than most crime novels. This is one author to keep an eye on.
