Summary: Awesome book!
Comment: For collectors of Alex Ross' work, this is a must! A pity that it just focuses on his DC Comics work but, no doubt, another book will appear at some point showcasing his work for Marvel & other comic-book studios.
Besides the art, the book also gives an insight into how Alex's mind works, what influences him & his art...For instance: it was interesting to read that Queen is his all-time favourite band!
It would be nice to see more books like this appear showcasing the work of other great comic-book artists...

Comment: This amazing book is well worth every penny I paid for and more! I have many art books of this type but I must say that this is the most complete and well organized book of any complete artist work. So alex ross fans, must definitely own this.
All my friends who have seen the book really love it. Well worth the time. A definite 10 stars out of 5.

Summary: Viscerally enticing
Comment: I simply love this book! Seemingly every page is filled with Ross' lavish and wonderfull rendering of DC's most beloved characters. Having these illustrations gathered into one volume reminds me of why I love comics. My son and I have already spent hours sitting together enjoying this book. Bring on the Marvel edition!
