Summary: Jump-start your kids in genetics but ....
Comment: If you're looking to give your kids a jump-start in genetics, this is a good place to start. One word of caution: this is not for the read-it-yourself 10 year-old - it is more suitable for at least a 12-15 year old kid. If you're buying this for a younger kid, I would suggest that a biology-competent person be present to guide the child through the book so that the message is clearly understood. Let's face it - genetics is not an easy subject, but with pictures and funny illustrations, the book grabs the child's attention enough for him/ her to turn the pages.
