Comment: This book offers trainee teachers, parents and current teachers a guide to approaching the occupation of teaching in a clear and consise manner, which is quite refreshing when compared to other academic books on this subject. The various chapters cover such topics as the various techniques and approaches of teaching, how to manage and organize a classroom for optimim performance, through to simple techniques for self-assessment and appraisal. I found the ideas in this book all the more enlightening as it is written by academics, most of whom are still teaching
