Summary: if you have to do theory
Comment: I'm not a big nursing theory fan, but if this is required reading, this book isn't too terrible. It does give some interesting background work on all of the theorists and tries not to complicate any of the already sometimes confusing and convoluted theories. For this topic - that's saying a lot.

Comment: I have used this book in my bachelor's program. It has been a tremendous reference book and offers good materials for writing professional philosophies. A good book to keep on the shelf for review later.
