Summary: A well written book on a complicated and ancient art
Comment: This book helped me save a horse's life. When I was far from veterinary care and had a horse stricken with colic, I was able to help him using the techniques learned in this book which augmented the veterinary acupuncture course I had taken years before. The illustrations and charts are very well done and they alone are worth the purchase price.

Comment: This book by Dr. Shoen is an excellent reference for veterinary acupuncture. His case studies are very helpful and the point locations are easy to follow. No veterinarian or acupuncturist should be without this book in their reference library.
