Summary: Once I started to read Red Leaves - I had to finish it!
Comment: Red Leaves, by Paullina Simons is a fantastic mystery that you just can"t stop reading. Not only is the author a great writer who some how peaks your interest on the first page, she keeps it up until the last page, when it all comes together. A great story, and another interesting fact is that the author was very familier with lots of the facts relating to the story and the places it visits. I was in many places described in the book and wondered how she knew so much about so many places.
Also I often try to read (murder) novels by men as I had felt that women authors often lean towards women readers. Not Simons - she gets all of us.
Great story. I have just purchassed her newest book Eleven Hours and so far it is as great as I remember Red Leaves, and I can't wait to get off this damned Webb Page so I can get out on my deck and get into it and finish it this weekend.

Summary: Brilliant!!!
Comment: This is a real page turner that I just couldn't put down, and one of the best books I've ever read.
Four close friends attending Dartmouth
University are the main characters of the story. They play and work together. They're together constantly. When one of them
winds up dead the mystery begins with many twists and turns.
The college years are one of the most exciting times, but according to this book they can also be one of the most deadly times.
Rating: 2
Summary: Too many twists and turns
Comment: Heard the taped version of RED LEAVES by Paullina Simons, a moderately interesting story of four Dartmouth College seniors . . . I enjoyed the college locale and the Dartmouth setting seemed realistic . . . but after a beginning that held my interest, the story became somewhat convoluted and not overly believable . . . the many twists and turns, designed to hold my interest, instead had me wondering out loud as to their basis . . . there was no way they could have been predicted, and to me, that's not playing fair . . . also, the only person I cared about was killed far too early into the tale . . . the narrator, Sandra Burr, was fine for some characters . . . but for some others, I actually found her reading to be harsh.
