Summary: Another winner by Sam Horn
Comment: Take the Bully by the Horns is another winner by Sam Horn. Bullies come in all shapes and sizes, from the sweet little ole grandma who manipulates through guilt, to the abusive and violent spouse. Sam addresses these and all those bullies in between, with her usual great mix of humor and serious information and techniques that can be used in a wide variety of situations. This book is full of useful, helpful information and will be appreciated by anyone looking for advice in how to deal with bullies.

Summary: Ready, Set, Go Become Bully Free!
Comment: This book is full of practical advice, offered in a clear, easy to read format. No lengthy chapters...you can absorb a couple ideas, put the book down to practice your newfound techniques, pick the book up the next day and learn more! (A great book for the busy person!) Horn cuts right to the chase with wonderful examples to show just how easy the methods are to apply. Her catchy titles capture the reader's attention and the contents keep them reading.

Never before have I identified so totally with the ideas in a book as I have with this one. The author's writing style is refreshingly down-to-earth. You get the feeling she's "been there, done that" and thus, you can readily connect to the offered suggestions.

I like how Horn helps you identify whether you're dealing with a real bully or just an occasional difficult person. And that her advice is not to stoop to your adversary's level, it's always to respond in a graceful manner that deflects their intent. Through the stories she shares, she clarifies situations in such a way that makes it easy to understand how the methods work.

Every school and library should have this book!
