Summary: Interesting
Comment: Considering that the book is titled "How To Win The Woman You Want." and not "How To Get All The Women You Want Into Bed" the reviewer below should have realized what he wouldn't be getting from this book. I agree that the information on the three different personality types is the most interesting part of the book. The problem is that I have found most women to be a combination of all three types and it's a bit more complicated to pin them down than was suggested by Cabot. If you want to get as many women into bed with you with the least amount of effort, there is no need to buy a book. Lowering your standards would be the most effective technique for achieving that lofty and admirable goal. It never ceases to amaze me that men who just want to get laid, continue to pursue attractive, intelligent women with self respect who are obviously looking for a relationship instead of going after the party girls who would happy to jump in the sack. Then they wonder why they have a problem.

Summary: Contains worthful knowledge, but don't take it too seriously
Comment: You better stay on guard while reading the book. Remember that the person who's giving you advice on being successful with women is herself a woman - so you can't expect her to have such an understanding for your needs as a man would. The book doesn't tell you how to get the largest possible number of women into bed with the least possible effort. This is rather a book on understanding women and treating them the way they wish.
A one-sentence summary of Mrs. Cabot's theory would be this: You have to be exactly like the woman wants you to be, give her everything she needs - and then she will fall in love with you.
Well, how about my individuality, you may ask. That's a good question. Of course, you can't hope to be successful with the stupid "take me as I am or go to hell" attitude. On the other hand, I don't believe that success gained through complete self-denial can make you happy either. (Though it might make the women happy - I guess that's quite all right with Mrs. Cabot.) Thus, I advise you to use the book to gain some valuable knowledge on women, but do not feel that you have to accept and approve everything Mrs. Cabot is telling you.
The best part of this book is the chapter where Mrs. Cabot tells about three types of personalities - visual, acoustic and kinesthetic. I consider this extremely valuable knowledge which can be used to great benefit not only in romance, but in different life situations with different people. It's a true eye-opener - you start to understand why some people act and react in a totally weird way sometimes. That alone makes the book worth reading.
Summary: This book can give you some help in your attempts to be successful with women, but it's probably not quite what you need.
