Comment: This book "shadowed" to a T what my grandson's father does at work. When I read it to my grandson during a recent visit,it helped me bond even more because HE LOVES HIS DAD! A great book to explain what Dad does all day long! Recommend to all grandparents of construction Dads!

Comment: MY SON WAS GIVEN A GIFT OF BOB THE BUILDER , UPON REVIEW MY SON REALLY ENJOYED THE TRUCKS , HOWEVER I FOUND THE STORY LINES ALWAYS REFLECT FEARS . EXAMPLE , TRUCKS IN THIS SERIES ARE AFRAID OF THE DARK AND HEIGHTS . THESE FEARS ARE EXAGGERATED AND NEVER RESOLVED . MY SON NOW EXHIBITS HAVING FEARS OF THE DARK . HE HADN'T BEEN AFRAID OF ANYTHING BEFORE THIS .WHILE MY SON HAS ENJOYED THE TRUCKS I HAVE CHOSEN TO REMOVE BOB THE BUILDER FROM OUR LIBRARY BECAUSE I FEEL A CHILD NEED NOT BE TAUGHT SUCH FEARS WITH NO RESOLUTION .
