Summary: a review on The Uprooted
Comment: The Uprooted is story a that features other stories of 190 escapees. This was also written by an escapee herself. The stories are about the escapee's lives and how they lived during the Holocaust, in their own words. I think the book was very interesting to hear what it was like for different people and their experiences. It was surprising to see how much kinder (children) that were taken away from their to parents to hide from the Nazis and escaped. Overall this book was very good at getting a good understanding of what the Holocaust was like.
