Summary: Nature prose at its finest
Comment: Pete Dunne is perhaps the pre-eminent nature writer today, and before the echo does nothing to disappoint those who have discovered his flowing prose. "Before The Echo" is an intimate portrait of various facets of the natural world in tightly worded essays. The book is a delight to read and it makes you want to go outside and look for the beauty that Dunne conveys so eloquently. I think this is what Pete had in mind.
