Summary: confusing and disjointed but somewhat informative
Comment: THis book was used for my into to psycho class at a large university, and I really wish they would have picked a different text. The book has a hard time staying focused, in one section concepts are horibbly oversimplified, in another, they are throwing too much high level information with no context. The chapter questions were ridiculously easy at times, unanwerable even by my TA at others. All in all, a very disjointed text.

Summary: A low level textbook
Comment: I really don't like this textbook. It is written at a level that is appropriate for a community college or high school, but it is too simplistic for use in a university classroom. Beyond the errors that the text makes, such as locating the suparchiasmatic nucleus in the thalamus, the explanations are to brief and simple. The book includes end of chapter review questions, but they are so simple that most students could answer them simply by looking at the chapter concepts.
