Summary: If You Have a Reading/Writing Challenged Child - Read This!
Comment: I read this book with the greatest interest because my child is one of the case studies used by Jay Simmons. I found the book very interesting not only because I was eager to read about my child but also because I found the entire book to be of interest as the parent of two learning disabled children. As the parent of two children with reading/writing weaknesses, I am always searching for information to assit them and also to assit me in being better prepared for working with my school district. I am going to request that my school board and current principal read Jay's book in the hopes that they can see areas where they can improve on meeting the needs of our district's children. I would recommend that anyone with a child who has reading and writing problems read this book before your next I.E.P. meeting. It will give you some very helpful knowledge.
