Rating: 5
Summary: Excellent Introduction and Overview on Psychology
Comment: I am a student in business administration and I wanted to have an introduction on and an overall view of the subject of psychology.

The book by Carlson and Buskist gave me an excellent overall view of psychology. I had the impression that it covers most of the aspects of psychology.

In my view, the book went sometimes too much into biology. As I am not interested in this subject I could easily skip those parts.

This book motivated me to read more about several disciplines and aspects of the science.

I truly can recommend this book! I now have a better understanding of human behaviour, the functioning of our brain, our interaction with the environment and mental disorders.
