Comment: The Guide is a must have for all ECE teachers. The only source that comprehensively provides teachers with a system that will meet the needs of ALL the children in the classroom. At the same time, reducing planning time by providing a framework of skill activities as a guide. This book will help teachers in educating parents as well. Each area of development (motor, perceptual, literacy, memory and problem solving)are broken down to show the sequence that is followed in acquiring skills, thus quieting the "all they do is play! " crowd. I recommend this book to new and experienced teachers.

Comment: I was given this book when I started working as a preschool teacher in a public school system. I find it a Godsend and recommend it to anyone that is serious about child development.
