Summary: Wow!
Comment: I am a student of Psychology. I am interested in counseling African Americans in a group setting. This book was wonderful! An excellent source for referring back to again and again. This book elaborates on psychological techniques that are best for African American women and how to incorporate Afrocentric beliefs and ideas. These techniques help Black women to cope with stress, racism and gender issues. A must read for any counselor, psychologist, sociologist, psychiatrist and STUDENTS who are interested in working with African American women within a group or individual context. Thanks for a excellent insight on how to help our people!
