Comment: I have used this text book to help train people on the technology and software products that drive the Mechanical Design Software Industry. The book has great real world examples with a lot of valuable information on software technology; the mechanical design process; and has very up-to-date information. I highly recommend this for anyone wanting to understand or teach the basics of modern 3D mechanical design all the way through very advanced concepts. It is easy to read, is well-structured, and is a great reference book too.
