Comment: Since the class book I have seems to make you search for the formulas, I needed a book that was a quick reference. This book is easy to read. It's more of a reference book than a teaching book. I like having it to review over what the class book doesn't explain to well.

Comment: I needed a quick reference to my Solid States class. This books puts the information I need right at my fingertips. While my class book is more detailed, this book gets to the point and is a great refresher for those needing to remember the points of semiconductors.
