Summary: A heartwarming story
Comment: This book tells the heartwarming and humorous tale of the relationship of Anne, a little girl, and Mrs. Simpson, an ecentric old woman. They develop a fast friendship and spend all of June and July playing together. Anne is inspired by Mrs. Simpson's yo-yo ability. She can do many tricks including the Loop to Loop, so Anne decides to secretly learn how to yo-yo in order to impress her friend. One day Mrs. Simpson breaks her hip, which results in a change in their relationship and also in the exchange of their most precious belongings. The illustrations are colorful but simple and take a backseat to the story, as they should in this book.
