Summary: Very pleasant
Comment: Very nice story and message but meaning is lost on my 4 year old. The illustrations too are pleasant but not as captivating as I had hoped for. Even at this young age, my daughter is looking for a story with strongly defined characters and some type of climax and resolution. The message is a good one, but punch!

Comment: If you or your little ones like fairies, get this book.
If you or your little ones like lush and detailed art, get this book.
If you or your little ones like simple but lovely verse, get this book.
Artwork predominates on every page of the book
(some one-page and some two-page artworks).
Two lines of verse per page or two page artwork.
I'd be happy to frame and hang any picture in this book.
I never heard of the illustrator Jamichael Henterly before but
I sure hope he keeps doing this type of high quality work.
Based on this book, I'd buy anything he created sight unseen.

Summary: Beautiful Pictures
Comment: This story is an old one as you may know. the Illustrations in this book brings this story to life. I used to read this to my niece and my little sister when they were young. I read it to them so much, I knew it word for word. A lot of the times people would get annoyed with this...but I never got tired of this cute story.
I would definately recommend this book!
