Summary: A wonderful story of forgiveness
Comment: This is a wonderful story of forgiveness. Jimmy is blinded by the careless act of a friend and must learn to adapt to a new life being blind. His whole life changes especially when he meets Leader, his four legged guide dog. This was my favorite book as a child. My 3rd grade teacher read it aloud to our class. I kept an old copy of it and have read it to all of my children. Everytime I see it at a garage sale I pick up another copy. I was glad to see that it has been reprinted and that so many other people are enjoying it. I have also recommended it to my child's second grade teacher and he has been reading it to his classes ever since.

Summary: A Book to Remember
Comment: I am so excited to see all of the readers who have enjoyed this book as much as I have! My fourth-grade teacher read "Follow My Leader" out loud to us---that was in 1969! I have loved it for 32 years. I worked in a bookstore for a while, and it was the first book I tracked down to buy a copy for my very own. All four of my children have read it and loved it, and my 10-year-old son is using it for an author study at school. Thank you, thank you for giving us a place to show our appreciation to James Garfield for writing such a fantastic book!

Summary: My favorite of all time!
Comment: I would like to say that ever since I read this book when I was 7 or so (I am now 20), I haven't found any others that even come close to the masterpiece that it was. I re-read this book over and over until I lost it when I was 10. Since I got it used from the library, my Mom couldn't find another copy (I don't think they were printing them) and I was devestated! Hope this helps!
